Final year (5th year) of Undergraduate Studies

Will be entering my final year of undergraduate studies on July 12, 2010.
Praying for a smooth sailing academic year ahead.
May all my batchmates graduate together next year.
Hope this is my last year as a university undergraduate, but not the last year as a university student ;)
Here's wishing all my batchmates, my friends who will be graduating next year & juniors best of luck.
Special wishes goes to my dearest sis who'll start her final year of A-level studies on the same day ;)

Maxis WebSMS

To those abroad/ going abroad, I hope the attached link is useful to u.

If u r a Maxis/ Hotlink user, u can register ur num at Maxis WebSMS and send 3 free websms per day to all Maxis/ Hotlink numbers (recipients need NOT be a registered user at Maxis WebSMS).

It's an official web application by Maxis&Hotlink.

I've been usin this serviz for 2years, so now i'm introducing it to u :)

A reply sms sent from the recipient to ur websms will cost he/ she 15sen. So in order to help ur recipient save money, ask him/ her to reply directly to your Maxis/ Hotlink number. But if ur Maxis/ Hotlink number is not on (if u've only 1 mobile phone, and it's used for ur foreign country number), then ask them to reply to the websms.

Well, u'll learn about it along the way ;)

I understand that real time conversation is made convenient by using instant messaging services & FB. Well, it's just a suggestion :) Just in case the person u wanna contact isn't online ;)

p/s Spread the word if u find this web application useful, or could be useful to others ;)

Patience

My patience level has improved over the last 4 years in dental school. I've become more tolerating to things i couldn't tolerate in the past, more "immuned" to things i was "hyperallergic" to.
I'm very thankful to have been given the opportunity to improve myself in many ways, but i hope my personality & character haven't been "eroded" in any way, as seen in some people around me, which is sad.

As a researcher (i'm currently busy with my elective research project, which is compulsory --- a contrary to its name), i've also learned to be more patient as full concentration is needed in order to ensure everything is in its correct order and no error is tolerable; otherwise, a re-do will be unavoidable.

Next thing to be improved -- prioritising. This would be important in time management, and as a dental student, more so a final year dental student, which means i've lotsa major projects to complete, requirements to fulfil, and a future to ponder upon.

Life is a journey... to be enjoyed whilst we can :)

Elective Research Project

Having holidays till July, but as an incoming final year student, i've to do my elective research project (actually it's compulsory to be completed before we graduate).
Staying at my project partner's house together with other batchmates & friends. Very grateful to them for letting me to stay at their place :D Having great time hanging out with them for this very final year before we part our ways upon graduation :)
