Bodyguards & Assasins

Watched this movie about history of China during the revolutionary period led by Dr Sun Yat Sen.
Realised that i know not much about China history :P
Blood, tears & sweat build an independent nation. I'm very glad to be born and bred in this country, which is peaceful & free of natural disasters :) Let's hope there are no more petty arguments among our own countrymen, who are of nothing but one nationality - Malaysian!

Brand new feeling =)

Finally, after our long break & "semi-break", we get to use the brand new renovated polyclinic B :)
I love my sophisticated purple dental unit :D
After 2.5 years of sitting at the back of the optech lab & polyclinic, we group E & F members get to sit in front! It's time to rest our feet from walking too much to and fro between the material counter & our cubicle.

Had my maxillary orthodontic wire changed to the final one, the thickest one. My upper teeth are very tender now :'(

Finally met our supervisor for elective research project for the very 1st time today. Hehehe we got our "gift" on 1st meeting too :P

Bangkok & Pattaya Trip

Sat Nov 21 Bangkok
Took bus from KL Sentral to LCCT to meet my family members and my mum's colleague's family.

The pre-booked lunch on flight was quite nice =)

Arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in the afternoon. Very nice & big airport. LCCT should build a multi-storey carpark like theirs.

The tour guide was quite arrogant. Being a smoker, he had heavily stained teeth and an intruded tooth 12, leaving a space for him to stick his cigarette in :P (Hehe, student dentist talking here :P)
Our group consisted of 3o+ people staying at 7 different hotels (pre-booked by customers themselves). Pity the tour guide.

We stayed at Prince Palace Hotel, Mahanak. 1st - 6th floor of the hotel building & outside the building was a wholesale market. Things were cheap there but one has to buy at least 3 items to get a really low price. Some shops would not sell unless you buy a dozen! Well, the quality of the things there wasn't as good as expected.
Not all Thai people are friendly. My sis Daphne chose 3 jackets at one stall, then we saw nicer ones at another stall. So we told the stall owner to hold onto those jackets first. She thought we didn't want to buy from her, then angrily threw the jackets on the floor 1 foot away from her! So rude! We got pissed off and went to all other stalls to search for nice jackets for Daphne, but in the end she realised she liked those at that lady's stall the most. Eventually my dad had to "thicken his face skin" to go buy from that lady :P

The tour guide brought us to a lousy Chinese restaurant in a shopping mall for a lousy dinner.
After dinner, we prayed at the 4-faced Buddha opposite Central World shopping complex for safety, career, relationship and wealth.

Sun Nov22 Bangkok & Pattaya
Took a boat ride on Chao Phraya River. People here lived on stilt-houses, experienced a 3-month flood with river water into their houses annualy. Years ago, they were still making a living by selling things on boats.

Prayed at a King level temple built by the only Thai King of Chinese descent after winning a war with the Burmese about a hundred years ago. The temple was built from the porcelain, food, etc donated by Thai people.

Visited Thailand's biggest leather goods shop. Learnt how to differentiate genuine & synthetic leathers. Cow, goat, elephant, ostrich, stingray, etc.

At Safari World, we watched stunning cowboy show & dolphin show. Again, had lousy buffet lunch there :(
After lunch, we headed to Pattaya.
On the way, we saw the magnificent almost 1km long Italianese mansion of Thailand's richest man, childless :-|

After another lousy dinner, we went for Thai massage :D 10+ people in a room, male & female together. We were clothed with similar "pyjamas" provided by the parlour. I still prefer the aroma oil therapeutic massage i had a month ago. Here, they just tap & pulled. Luckily it's not painful :P

We stayed at Golden Beach Hotel. There're pubs outside the building. I didn't sleep well due to the thundering music from downstairs :(

Mon Nov23 Pattaya
Took speedboat to one of the island. Daphne tried parasailing, i just watched :P
My whole family went seawalking 8metres under the sea, wearing a globe-shaped oxygen-filled helmet. RM140 per person. Fed thousands of fishes with bread, nice experience =) Corals there weren't as beautiful as those in Tioman Island. However, seawalking in Tioman Island will be RM450 per person.

Visited wax museum housing wax statutes of famous monks. This museum was part of the temple built for preparation of the current Thai King after his "retirement" from the throne and to become a monk here.
One of the mountain nearby had Gautama Buddha's shadow. They traced it using 18K gold.

Drank 100% pure grape juice at a Holland-style grape vineyard. Nice =)

Visited Nong Nooch Garden built by Thailand's 2nd richest man. He owned 40+ sport cars parked in a 3-storey carpark building. He planted 10 000 over plants in this garden. Watched cultural show & elephant performances there.

Watched the famous Tiffany Show at Alcazar. The trans-sexuals were so much prettier than genuine females!

Walking Street in Pattaya is quite similar to Jonker Walk in Malacca, except that it has lotsa pubs and clubs there. Pity the prostitutes, i'm sure they won't take up this job should they be given a chance to choose. Making as much money as possible to improve the standard of living of their family is their goal.

Took a up-sized pick-up van tut-tut back to hotel =)

Tue Nov24 Pattaya & Bangkok
Visited world's largest jewellery factory -- Gems Gallery. Took a monorail ride (similar to the one at Petroscience, KLCC) to look at the formation of precious and semi-precious stones. Watched how an ordinary-looking stone was cleaned, cut, polished and glazed into an expensive stone. Had free drinks at the factory cafe with beautiful landscape & interior design.

One crazy Thai man bred tigers & pigs together to tame the tigers by feeding them with pig milk. We visited the farm housing thousands of tigers, pigs, crocodiles, etc. Watched tiger & crocodile performed.

Visited a honey factory. Tried honey drink, pollen & royal jelly for free here. Took pictures with the boss's yellow Lamborghini =D

Went to one of the world's biggest bazaar -- Suan Lum Night Bazaar near the embassies in Bangkok. It had 16rows of shop-like stalls, all departmentalised. Things here were very cheap as long as you know how to bargain =) Sigh we left the camera on the bus so no pictures were taken here :(

Wed Nov25
Left Asian' most polluted city and came back to Malaysia =)

Surgeon's Log 3

Lesson learnt from Grey's Anatomy Season 6 Episode 6

Trauma Surgery
To always check for inhalational burns in a burn victim no matter how well the patient appears to be.
Check for burnt signs in the throat and any soot coming out from the throat.
Inhalational burnts can involved the whole respiratory tract & lungs.
This leads to oedema of the respiratory lining due to inflammation.
The airway can be blocked any time when the swelling is big enough to occlude it.
Thus, the patient needs to be intubated STAT.
Inflammatory mediators released will get into the circulatory system and it can cause disseminated intravascular coagulation.
The patient can bleed from everywhere and the bleeding will be very difficult to stop.

p/s: This is a note i wrote for myself and to share with whoever interested.

Paedodontist's Log 1 & Surgeon's Log 2

Morning: Children's Dentistry
My clinical partner's 5-year-old super duper cute boy patient came today for stainless steel crown placement. He has super duper long & curved eyelashes and big round eyes *^.^*
He looked like just been dragged out of his bed to the clinic, reluctant to talk, just responded our questions by either nodding or shaking his head. Fearing of making him cry, we let him played with the teeth model. He brushed diligently on the model using the correct technique that my partner taught him 2 weeks ago, we kept praising him =D
We used a mouth prop this time to keep his mouth open as he felt asleep on the dental chair during the previous visit and closed his mouth :P
He was very cooperative throughout the 2.5 hour session, good boy!
In the end, he went home as a "Superboy" with a shiny metal crown in his mouth =)
Lesson of the day: to not polish the crown with handpiece immediately after seating as the vibration will break the cement seal or disturb the setting process of the cement.

Afternoon: Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
Was supposed to have Minor Oral Surgery session but both patients didn't turn up.
The oral maxillofacial surgeon-in-charge brought our group for wardrounds at Orthopaedic Surgery ward & Otorhinolaryngology ward.

Orthopaedic Surgery ward
Saw a motor vehicle accident trauma patient with zygomatic complex fracture. Learnt how to approach trauma patients to perform examinations. Concentration was put on head and neck region - our region of interest =)

Otorhinolaryngology ward
Saw a very young patient (probably around 20 years of age) who has had 2 times of Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the maxilla due to recurrence. She just had maxillectomy & radical neck dissection. A very long tracheostomy tube was there on her neck. Poor girl. Learnt about the importance of placing incisions out of the lines of aesthetics to avoid leaving a bad scar =)

Why make me cry? :'(

Early in the morning already been made shedding my tears during lecture... I wasn't saddened (not to worry!), just touched to tears by the video clip put up during Geriatric Dentistry lecture. Sometimes i do feel good letting my tears trickle down my cheek without caring too much about people looking at me. I'm a girl, hence the right to have shallow eyes (as what the Chinese says about people who cry easily) :P

Surgeon's Log 1

Today is Oral Maxillofacial Surgery day for my group as we spent the whole day at OMFS Dept for both morning & afternoon clinical sessions.

Morning
Had extraction clinics. Did extraction on a osteoporotic & hypertensive old lady with history of cardiac enlargement & angina pectoris.
Extracted her retained 13 root & 36 bony spicule (it felt like tooth fragment to me though...).

Retained 23 root was also indicated for extraction but it showed periapical radiopacity (denser than surrounding bone) surrounded by a faint zone of raiolucency. The surgeon in-charge told me that it's sequestrum (radiopaque) surrounded by a zone of inflammatory front, which is the host reaction to contain the sequestrum.
I was very grateful to have come across an article which explained that bis-phosphonate (a drug used to treat osteoporosis) could cause osteochemonecrosis, when i was searching for journals for my Social Behavioural Science project literature review.
My patient took 1 pill of Forsamec once a week, which explained the condition.

During the attempt to extract her badly carious tooth 44, the crown & half of the root was broken, leaving a conical root fragment which was slightly mobile but too stubborn to be elevated out from the socket.
A full thickness mucoperiosteal flap was raised and several unsuccessful attempts were initiated to elevate that stubborn fragment out of the socket. That root was then suspected to be either ankylosed/ hypercementosed.
My patient was ushered into the minor operating theatre and a minor oral surgery was then performed by the surgeon to remove that hypercementosed root fragment.

Did my 1st ever suture on a human being today, thanks to my dedicated supervising surgeon =) I learned a lot today!

Lunch hour
Attended a rescheduled Orthodontics revision session. The orthodontist in-charge was very kind to have brought tidbits & peanuts for us considering it's lunch time.

Afternoon
Had Minor Oral Surgery clinical session.
I'm very grateful to have my clinical partner to be my assistant for the surgery as we've already built up a very good rapport =)
Luckily my hand didn't tremble too much when i was cutting on the mucoperiosteum. First-timers are always nervous & it's always best if the supervisor is an encouraging teacher as we are handling scalpels here which cut! That's the purpose of we going to the dental school, to learn =)
Raising a mucoperiosteal flap is like deboning a chicken, stripping its flesh from the bones. It sounds disgusting, but the feeling when doing it is good =D
Drilling the alveolar bone was the most surprising part to me as never did i know that bone was so much softer than dental enamel! I guess that explained the higher radiodensity of dental enamel =)
Sectioning the tooth was the only time when a dental surgeon can forget about avoiding the pulp when drilling into a tooth! Just drill into it for that tooth is deemed to be extracted :)
I think i need to practise more on suturing :)

Conjoin dentistry

Had a long day at Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Department for both morning & afternoon clinical sessions.

Morning
I love giving injections! :P
Learnt how to utilise the empty extraction socket of the adjacent removed root for removal of the other retained root of the same tooth.
Lesson of the day: never give up trying again on my own before switching on the red light too quickly to ask for help from the supervisor =) Self-confidence is very essential in whatever we do in our life, as long as we know whatever we are doing is correct & ethical :)

My partner had a very interesting case today. We were lucky to have an orthodontist who happened to be at the OMFS department at that time & was very willing to come over to give her opinion & teach us :)
In the end, other Oral Maxfac surgeons, General Dental Practice specialist, Dental Surgical Assistant, etc. also came to our cubicle to have a look at the patient :P
I cannot disclose further details to protect the patient's privacy :)
It's nice to see specialist of various specialties come together to discuss about a case & share their opinions. It's really an eye-opener to me :)

Stood for more than 3 hours :'(

Afternoon
Had minor oral surgery session. Stood for another 2 hours, hardly see a thing due to the small oral cavity of Homo sapiens >.<

Rushing! Hot!

Had a busy day today. Time management is really important!

Morning
Due to somebody with poor time management, i went to Polyclinic A (2nd floor) late this morning, only to find out groups having Conservative Dentistry sessions were relocated to Polyclinic C (ground floor) because the aircon of the whole polyclinic broke down (cooling pipe leaking, need a month to get repaired!!!) & the suction system of the whole polyclinic has not been functioning since yesterday morning (fuse burnt). So i grabbed everything required and brought my patient down the stairs.

It's already 10.30am when we finally settled down to start the treatment. Halfway doing my working length determination of root canal treatment, my group's supervisor informed us that she has a meeting at 12.30pm, so we've to finish work by then *o*
Luckily i managed to complete my cleaning & shaping and discharged the patient at 12.25pm *phew*
Not forgetting to mention that my patient bought me & my partner a mooncake each :D

I really need to build up my stamina, was nearly out of breath after taking 4 flights of stairs from ground floor to 2nd floor >.<

My groupmate Aini brought us kuih raya today, yeah! =)

Afternoon
My patient for orthodontic clinic came late at 3pm, she took time off from work.
Lucky me as i got to take her as Upper Removable Appliance (URA) case patient. Didn't prepare much for URA case as i had thought that she'd only fit to be my orthodontic diagnosis case patient for her age. Hmm... Lesson of the day: never underestimate anything & be well prepared at all times!
Room temperature was quite high due to the malfunctioning aircon. Poor patient, she had to be tortured by me as i tried many times in taking a good impression of her teeth. It's not wholly my fault! The impression material sets faster under higher temperature :'(
Luckily my group's supervisor was patient enough to wait for me to finish work despite working in the "sauna room" :P
4.55pm, i rushed to Imaging Department with my patient to take dental pantomogram & lateral cephalogram. Luckily the staffs there were lenient & hardworking enough to let us take those radiographs as the department closes at 5pm.
Discharged my patient at 5.05pm.
Went back to Polyclinic A to clean up, only to realise that i'd not given my patient her time-slip! Ran to the parking entrance beside Lecture Hall 3 to give her >.<
Poured impressions at the lab.
Reached hostel at 6pm to have dinner, hungry!

Life is full of challenges, doing dentistry is even more challenging;
challenges colours our life,
and the colour depends on how we perceive the challenges,
and how we colour it =)

Have faith. Cherish it!

I fell
I got hurt
I stood up
I recovered
I gained support
I was discouraged
I suffered
I persevered

I did something silly

Was walking towards the hospital to faculty after lunch.
A lady in a white Myvi stopped me behind the dining hall, asking for direction to parking lots.
She has to attend an interview at the hospital at 2pm.
It was already 1.33pm.
In my mind, the multi-storey car park beside Accident & Emergency Department was the only place with empty parking lots at that time.
Considering she being a stranger to this place & the time constraint, i offered to get into her car to show her the way there.
We exited the campus via PJ gate & headed towards the car park.
I explained how to get to the main building of the hospital to her before i got down from her car.
Joyfully i headed to my faculty & told my friends about how i've helped someone.
In the end, all my friends who've heard my story scolded me for being too naive, too kind-hearted to have actually offered to get into a stranger's car to show the direction.
I could've been abducted by an innocent-looking person!
Ok, sorry... No next time

Movie: The Taking of Pelham 123

Free movie tickets, so lucky =P
It's a thriller film, a nice one!
It's based on the novel of the same name by Morton Freedgood (writing under the pseudonym John Godey).
It has been made into movies few times more than 10 years ago. The remake this one around is great! Starring John Travolta as the big bad guy, the film has portrayed the greed of human beings & how cruel and nasty one can get in the pursuit of wealth.
The film involves lotsa dialogues, which reminds me of my lil sis Daphne who hates "talking non-stop" films :P
The story spans around 1hour++ with audiences holding their breaths, trying to anticipate what's gonna happen next and whether anymore hostages will be shot.
I learnt that we are not born to live our destiny or the way life seems to be. Sometimes life leads us to something that we've never had thought of, something surprising, and heaven made us to be unique and capable of handling new things.
To shoot or not to shoot, your call =)

Bakuteh in Klang

had Bakuteh as breakfast + lunch at Teluk Pulai (Pottery) Bakuteh Restaurant, Klang with family members. Nice! But i still love mum's the most :P

Super tiring week

Super duper tired today. It's no fun assisting in the clinic for both morning and afternoon sessions, especially when your cubicle is at the very far end of the polyclinic where you've to walk/ run to the other end to get instruments, materials, etc. Although some may agree that being an assistant will not be mentally stressed and tired as being an operator, it's physically tiring!
How i miss my mum's Osim iSqueez & uPapa at home...
I'm a good massager, but when i need a good massage, who's there for me? :'(

Fakers are fake

...and they will try to take advantages on you...
...and they will act innocent...
...and they will act like they are "friends" of yours...
...and they will start saying inappropriate things which they think are "advices" to you...
...and they think they know the whole situation...
...and they will try to manipulate your mind...
...and they will try to persuade you to make desicions which are against your principles...
...and they will try to victimise you and tell you that what they think is good for you...
...and they will try to boss you around...

but you realised their motives
and you are not stupid and ignorant
but you are assertive and positive
and you act cool and innocent
for you wait for the right moment to strike
to fight for your right and survival
for this is who you are and what you want
to live your life your way
for no one can influence you and your life
as long as you are assertive and determined

Life is not always easy
But if you never try to make it easier, and always be a follower, you'll be like having your nose ringed and pulled and enslaved like a cow
Live your life your way!

Don't try to mess with me, for i'm not someone you are able to handle =)

Do i look thinner?

"Eunice, you look thinner!"
Lecturers & friends have been telling me this recently when they see me for the 1st time after the long holidays. Do i?
My weight has been always 43.5kg for few years already. The "fattest" time in my entire life was in year 2006 when i was in matriculation college. My weight shot up to 47kg and i had to buy new pants & skirts >.<
Gone were the days when i was a little bit more chubby & nicer looking. I'm now bony & skeleton-like.
I'm sorry to those friends who always complain of gaining weight easily, but i really have to say that it's never good to be skinny & hard to gain weight.
It's very difficult for me to buy clothes especially shirts as only size XS & S will fit nicely on me without making me look like i'm "swimming" in them/ like a cockroach (that's what my mum used to call people wearing oversized clothes like the long shell of cockroaches :P).
Concerned friends will keep asking me to eat more to put on more weight. Haha i eat a lot! But the nutrients just couldn't be absorbed adequately into my blood =(
Tried western & Chinese antiparasitic medications but they weren't effective on me.
Anyone with effective methods?

4th Academic Year

i foresee an extremely busy year ahead.
I've only finished the very 1st week, yet i'm feeling very exhausted.
I've to learn to like 'some' people around me, although they can be very sickening sometimes.
People are selfish, i've to learn to act selfish sometimes from now onwards; i don't want to be used by mean people.
Too many commitments... I want to be more low profile. Let me finish my tasks first before giving me more, please!
Sickening people, selfish people, get out of my way!

Rosy Business 巾帼枭雄

another great Hong Kong TVB drama.
It protrays greed, trust, love, friendship, loyalty, and all the thousand faces of the human race.
Again, it doesn't star my favourite actors or actresses. I watched it 'cause it's highly recommended by my friends :P
Too bad it didn't show Jeung Bit Zeng's child :( I'd love to see the cute little ones!

Am i less fortunate?

seeing friends from my once medieval and now devoloping hometown succeed in life, get to study abroad, travel around the world, i sometimes ask why luck and fortune have not knock on my door? why i can't be like them? why my life is less interesting, well, at least to me?

for some stupid reasons, i got an A2 for Moral Studies in SPM, there goes my straight A1 and my scholarship to study abroad...

i wanted to become a scientific researcher... luckily my parents persuaded me to study dentistry, so that i could secure a better promised future, this is the one of the only few things i'm proud of myself now.

however, my dream to study abroad since young has not been achieved yet. MU is a good university, but the culture and lifestyle are so different compared to those overseas ones. I'm so glad that my sis has the chance to live my dream for me =)

Now i wish that i can ace in my studies and get a scholarship to do my postgraduate studies overseas. Sigh, however, circumstances might delay or prevent me from achieving this as there are other important things in life that i've to consider. Life is easier being a man.

So, it's either i do my post-grads overseas or earn as much money as i can to travel around the world, which is my other dream.

Men is never contented. We are greedy. But greed pushes us further, in a decent way, i hope.
I've been learning to appreciate things i've. I've a good family. I've close friends who cares for me. I've aquaintances to hang around with.
At least i'm fortunate enough to live in this country, where education is available to almost everyone.
At least i'm fortunate enough to have food for every meal.
At least i've a shelter.
I'm actually very fortunate, i've to learn to appreciate & cherish what i have.

It's been a long time since i last posted a long blog entry. I hope i can do this more often. I miss the good old days when i'd the mood to write good articles. This is life =)

Transformers 2009

watched Transformers at MBO Cinema at Square One with PaMa yesterday. It was sOoOoOo cold inside the cinema :'( Mum and Dad finally came to know of the existence of "couple seats" :P
Great movie. Megan Fox is hot!!!

Tiring trip

woke up at 3.20am this morning. Slept for only 2 hours :(
Started our journey with another 2 cars at 4am to send my sis and her friends to Akasia Hostel, International Education Centre (Intec), UiTM, Shah Alam.
Reached home at 7pm.
Tired. Sleepy.

Touched by my creation

spent hours creating a creation :P using a software i was totally unfamiliar with. Learnt Macromedia Flash Fireworks and another one named something like... Dreamworks when i was doing my matriculation. It's a little bit similar but different =P
cried when the program crashed after everything was done the first time... had to start from scratch again :'( then i clicked "save" each time i've completed a stage.
... and TADA! It's finally created! My sweat + blood + tears... was so touched when i viewed it :')
i love this song... "A Simple Love Song" by Green Soda

was down with common flu (viral URTI) for the past few days. Hated the fact that there's nothing i could do to bring my fever down for being allergic to paracetamol and NSAIDs (known ones: ibuprofen & mefenamic acid).
still left with cough now >.<

Emergency Unit @ 學警狙擊

finished watching 30-episode long Hong Kong TVB drama 學警狙擊 Emergency Unit

no doubt, Hong Kong's underworld dramas are the best! It's a very popular drama. Friends who know me well know that i'm quite selective in the dramas i watch; i only watch dramas which

1. star my favourite actors & actresses
2. have a appealing plot & theme
3. are of quality

This drama doesn't have my idols, but due to boredom & high recommendation by friends, i watched it and enjoyed it =)

老婆大人II @ Just Love II

just finished watching this latest Hong Kong TVB drama. I still love Jessica Hester Hsuan 宣萱 very much =) It's not a mega drama but i like the way the story portrays life. No doubt, i still strongly believe that one can learn a lot about life by watching drama & movies, and through reading. It is through observing how other people handle things in their life that we ourselves mature mentally & emotionally after doing some self-reflections.

This drama is about a capable judge with a loving husband and a cute son. In the 1st season, she was quite mean to her husband. In this 2nd season, we see a change in her attitude towards life & her loved ones. 老婆大人 (Lou Po Dai Yan/ Lao Po Da Ren) means a bossy wife. Haha, there's no way am i going to be one although i like this drama =P I hope i can be a supportive one instead =)

I hope i can have more time to watch dramas i love. However, i doubt i can due to my packed schedule. Sigh... I'll leave it for the holidays then =)

Shopping spree

went shopping at Square One shopping mall Parkson departmental store with mum this afternoon. Bought 6 formal shirts altogether =P Will go again tomorrow to buy trousers. The person who created XS size is sooo great!!! Otherwise, i'd have to buy S-sized clothes as usual and get my mum to alter them for me =P

Happy Teacher's Day

May16 = Teacher's Day
it's one of the most well celebrated day in school. Having both my parents being teachers, my sister & i will always be welcoming them back from school with lots of presents and food =P My mum, a primary school teacher will always bring home cute presents given by her young students and "more useful" ones given by students' parents =P Teaching secondary school youngsters, dad's gifts are often more "luxurious" =P
Well, i don't give presents to my teachers every year as there are simply too many of them whom i'm very grateful for what i'm today & whatever i've achieved. My friends & i used to give out cards written with our own words. We do buy things for teachers as a class.
Teachers in the past were highly respected and regarded as angels. Now, teachers are beaten up, scolded for no good reasons, being complained of petty things, etc. Some people just do not respect teachers. Little do they know that without teachers, we'll be merely a bunch of good-for-nothings. Some people just think too highly of themselves and thought that they are the cleverest of all. I just despise these people and their mentality.
People, do at least spend a few bucks text-message teachers whom you respect and are grateful for. Of course, those lazy people who call themselves as teachers are not worth to be remembered =)

Final Exams coming soon >.<

sigh, haven't been enjoying my life at faculty lately... why does all work suddenly appear at th same time?! I can't divide myself into 2 halves, i'm exhausted! Thus i seek for calmness & joy on Facebook, i'm addicted! I've to kick this habit A.S.A.P.!!!
Chatted with my buddy Daniel this morning. Hmm... i know i really have to buck up =)
Life in dentistry is not easy. I'll make sure i can still stay sane until the end of my studies...
Life is short.
Forgive quickly,
kiss passionately,
love truly,
laugh constantly,
and never stop smiling no matter how strange life is.
Life is not always the party we expected it to be
but as long as we are here,
we should smile and be grateful!

Busy

haven't updated my blog for such a long time.
haven't been having enough time and mood to write a nice post.
my recent posts have all been the "what i've done" type, so monotonous and boring >.<
sigh, i missed my post-SPM and post-matriculation days when i wrote longer, more meaningful posts...
Final exams in a month's time... Can't believe it that i've almost completed my 1st clinical year...
Facebook is fun but i hate it when they keep changing the layout >.<

Happy New Year 2009

May there be no war in this world
May there be peace

May there be no sufferings
May there be joy

May there be no hunger
May there be enough food for each and every one

May there be no hatred
May there be love
