hv been spending there past few days at home watching TV, visitting friends and spending time with family and relatives...
went to Yong May's family optical shop for an eye check-up and found out that my eye-sight hasn't deteriorated except for a 50 degrees increase in myopia in my right eye.. got a pair of new specs anyway... mum said i need another pair as a 'spare tyre', if u get what i mean ;P
visitted Pn Goh with Yunn Shin and Yong May on Tuesday... and that's the reason why we didn't attend the gathering at McD, Summit Parade...
went to Yin Tyan's house... Yong May and Kim Na were making puddings and spaghetti... and i met up with some other friends including Yin Tyan's boyfriend, Yong Jie, whom i wasn't introduced to, hmm... friends studying in TAR College were practising for a singing competititon which is going to be on Monday, that's tomorrow, for that matter. i left after having eaten the delicious spaghetti but had no time for the puddings 'cause they're still in the oven when i left... hmm... never having really cooked something myself, it's quite a surprise for me to find out that one actually has to
baked puddings in an oven! or maybe it's one of a special type...
i left in my dad's new Toyota Innova which has a 'JJJ' on its number plate... hmm... my parents seemed to have a liking of purchasing new things in my absence... an Astro decoder, a study lamp, a new MPV...
all 4 of us in the family played badminton at Banang Golf Club that evening... and i found out that my stamina's getting from bad to worse nowadays that i was panting like hell just 10 minutes after the game started... but it's really hard not to feel tired playing with 2 skillful 'old players' *wink
on Saturday, we went to Kukup and bought some T-shirts there... the trip went intended to be to Tanjung Piai, the southest tip of the Asia continent, but the road leading to it looked too dangerous to be travelled on...
yesterday, my paternal granny cooked my favourite Hokkien Eng Chun noodle for me... it's delicious! after lunch, my family and my uncles' went to the showvillage in Evergreen Heights... the interior designs of all the 8 houses were very nice and sophisticated but some designs weren't that practical if one's to 'live' in that design...
just finished reading Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince this evening... i found this book lacking in something the previous 4 HP sequels have, which i don't know what it really is... it's so dull at the beginning, but not after half the book has been read... by the way, it's true in the papers; 'everyone seems to be
snogging...'
it's so sad that Dumbledore's dead and was killed by a very 'dislikable' character in the story... but it's happy to know that Ron and Hermione eventually became a pair, but i did thought that
Harry and Hermione would be a more compatible pair; one being courageos, and the other, intelligent ;)
the part in which Harry and Dumbledore were at the lake was the most eeriest part in the book 'cause i personally disgust corpse! and seeing Dumbledore suffering after drinking that potion in the basin was so touching and saddening...
and when Harry eventually asked for a split up with Ginny, i thought that he was very wise and selfless in doing so, for Voldemort'll most probably make use of her as a bait in future, as what Harry said... it's benevolent and noble to sacrifice one's love for the sake of the world, for Harry, the magical society especially, but not for the sake of one's personal pursue, which is very selfish... Harry's made a wise choice... but i think the seventh and last sequel'll be very different from all the previous ones as Harry's decided not to return to Hogwarts after Dumbledore's death, to search for Voldemort and kill him... he'll be very different yet more matured, i think, for he has a much heavier responsibility now, seeing that Dumbledore's no longer here to assist him anymore...
...good luck, Harry...
i'll be going back to college on Thursday after my additional SPM Chinese paper on Thursday morning... to my college mates, i've got permission from the HEP, in precise, En Amran himself... and don't forget to bring
kuih-muih and your own
baju kebangsaan for the jamuan on the 18th of November...
